Greg Hands MP sees Earl’s Court Development plans which are finally available!
On 23 February 2023 Greg Hands MP met the Earl’s Court Development Company (ECDC) to view their draft masterplan which is finally available.
The development of the Earl’s Court site is going to be one of the biggest developments across our local area - the huge plot itself is around 40 acres.
Greg welcomes that at last, progress is being made. However, ECDC’s plans show buildings as high as 38 storeys. These buildings would be even taller than the Empress State Building, the existing stand-alone tall tower on Lillie Road.
Greg was pleased to learn that residents can view the plans for 5 weeks at the new Conversation Corner space in the former Metropolitan Police Heritage Centre on Lillie Road (opposite Hotel Lily) and he is very much urging residents to go along.
It is open 4 days a week (Wednesday – Saturday) at the following times:
- Wednesdays: 12pm - 4pm
- Thursdays and Fridays: 3pm - 7pm
- Saturdays: 11am - 3pm
After you have been along to the new Conversation Corner to see the plans for yourself, Greg is keen to hear your views.
Let Greg know what you think by emailing him at: mail@greghands.com or by filling in his survey, which is available here: www.greghands.com/earls-court-development-consultation
Greg looks forward to hearing from constituents!
- Update ends -
For many years Greg has been closely following the development of the 40-acre Earl's Court site which is located on the border of the Chelsea and Fulham constituency and is very keen to hear the views of residents.
Greg frequently meets with the Earl's Court Development Company (ECDC), the developers responsible for driving the development of the site, to receive updates on their plans.
As any future proposals will have a big impact on the local area and community and Greg would like to hear what residents think so please do email him at: mail@greghands.com. Do not forget to include your full address and postcode so Greg knows you live in Chelsea & Fulham.
Greg continues to follow developments closely and looks forward to hearing from you!
