Greg Hands MP visits Washington DC as Minister for Trade

Greg Hands MP, in his capacity as Trade Minister, completed a vibrant and productive visit to Washington DC.
Greg is familiar with Congress, having previously worked there before embarking on his career as an MP. Greg was in Washington DC to meet with trade representatives, associations, and businesses. As a part of the UK Trade delegation, Greg emphasised the pivotal role of businesses in strengthening the ‘special’ UK-US relationship.

Greg Hands MP visits Ukraine as Minister for Trade

Greg Hands MP, in his capacity as Trade Minister travelled to Ukraine, amidst the conflict, to sign a defence partnership agreement between the UK and Ukraine.
Greg was accompanied by a delegation of 29 leading UK defence and security companies. The mission aimed to foster collaboration between UK and Ukrainian businesses to bolster Ukraine's military capability and reconstruction efforts.

Greg Hands MP visits Jersey and Guernsey as Minister for Trade

Greg Hands MP had an excellent visit to Jersey and Guernsey in the Channel Islands last week in his capacity as Minister for Trade. The visit was very useful to gain further insights in how the Department for Business and Trade can help Jersey and Guernsey trade better globally. The Crown Dependencies have so much to offer in terms of goods and services to the UK’s trade agenda – which can bring great benefits to the Bailiwicks, too!

Greg Hands MP visits Poland as Minister for Trade

Greg Hands MP completed a very productive and jam-packed visit to Poland last week, in his capacity as Minister for Trade. The focus of his most recent trade visit was to talk about the two countries’ common priorities, the UK-Polish trade and investment relationship, opportunities for UK companies and to discuss how the UK and Poland can further cooperate in supporting Ukraine in its fight against Putin’s brutal invasion.
