Sadiq Khan and TfL want to cut SIXTEEN local bus routes.
Many local residents rely on these buses to get to work, to medical appointments or to shops. We need to maintain these vital bus routes - especially for the elderly, disabled people and parents with pushchairs. Cutting many established routes means forcing people back to using cars or massively increased travel times.
I’m leading a London-wide campaign to save our bus routes – and urge everyone to back my campaign.
I have:
- Started a petition against the cuts with nearly 6,000 signatures so far.
- Made an extensive personal submission to Transport for London's (TfL) Central London Bus review.
I will:
- Continue to campaign against cuts TfL have proposed.
