Three new schools for Hammersmith and Fulham

Greg Hands M.P. has welcomed the news that three new schools have been approved for Hammersmith and Fulham: Burlington Danes Primary Academy, the Earls Court Primary School and the Rise School.

Thanks to boundary changes, the constituency of Chelsea and Fulham is a new one. Before the May 2010 election, Greg was MP for the overlapping constituency of Hammersmith and Fulham. It's home to many landmarks and famous faces, including the Premiership football grounds of Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage and more than 66,000 people. Tribute to Baroness Thatcher

The news of Lady Thatcher’s death is terribly sad. She was, without question, Britain's greatest post-war Prime Minister and was always very kind to me.

She made a huge difference to my Chelsea and Fulham constituents, as she did to the entire country. Her loss will be felt particularly hard in the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, with its Margaret Thatcher Infirmary and Chapel, where she often prayed.

Hands: Landmark step in childcare support for parents in Chelsea and Fulham

Greg Hands M.P. has welcomed today’s landmark announcement to introduce tax-free childcare. It will be worth up to £1,200 every year for each child under age 12, and around 2.5 million families will be able to claim it.
