Chelsea and Fulham’s newest free school, opened its doors this week to the delight of pupils, parents and teachers alike. Fulham Boys School, whose future had been in jeopardy earlier this year after uncertainty over its site, had its first day of the school year on Monday 15th September.

Thanks to boundary changes, the constituency of Chelsea and Fulham is a new one. Before the May 2010 election, Greg was MP for the overlapping constituency of Hammersmith and Fulham. It's home to many landmarks and famous faces, including the Premiership football grounds of Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage and more than 66,000 people. MP for Chelsea and Fulham, Greg Hands, is disappointed but not surprised at the Planning Inspectorate’s recommendation for Thames Water’s main drive shaft for the Super Sewer to be in Carnwath Road, in Fulham.

A book about heroism in wartime France, it tells the story of Francelle’s mother, Andrée Griotteray, who fought with the French Resistance under Nazi occupation.
